Bolaang Uki - Rector of Universitas Negeri Gorontalo Dr. Eduart Wolok, ST., MT, and the Regent of South Bolaang Mongondow Regency Iskandar Kamaru signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on Thursday (17/2) at the Regent's Office. 

The Rector of Universitas Negeri Gorontalo said that the signing of this MOU is part of the ongoing development cooperation of the Tomini Bay Special Economic Area and Northern Maluku. 

"We also hope that the cooperation between the South Bolaang Mongondow Regional Government and Universitas Negeri Gorontalo can boost the quality of human resources in our Regional," he said. 

The Regent said that the quality of human resources plays an important role in the economic progress of a region, and the human resources are produced from higher education. 

"The South Bolaang Mongondow Regency is part of the Tomini Bay Special Economic Zone (SEZ). I am confident that the SEZ of the Tomini Bay will have a great impact on the growth of the economy in this region," he said.
