Scholarship Service

Scholarship services are university activities in the process of submitting scholarship applications from various sources that can be accepted by students, facilitating coordination to obtain new scholarship sources that are funded from non-APBN sources.

Scholarships offered to students at state universities can be differentiated based on academic and economic abilities and based on funding sources. Based on the criteria of academic ability and economic limitations, scholarships can be awarded to:

1) students who excel both in academics (GPA) and in non-academic fields, as well as

2) Scholarships for economically disadvantaged students.

 

The types and requirements for scholarship applications by students are carried out in accordance with the provisions coordinated by the Student Affairs Section of Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Information on the types and requirements is as follows:

 

Bank Indonesia Scholarship

Bank Indonesia Scholarship is a scholarship provided by Bank Indonesia for undergraduate and vocational program students at PTN & PTS as well as selected vocational high school students. Through this scholarship, BI will provide assistance for education costs, study allowances, and also living expenses. Universitas Negeri Gorontalo has had the opportunity to provide this scholarship every year since 2014. In 2022, UNG received a quota of 88 people.

Criteria

  1. Regular SI Students
  2. Have completed at least 3 semesters or have taken a minimum of 40 (forty) credits
  3. Coming from an economically disadvantaged family background (pre-prosperous)
  4. Have a minimum Cumulative Achievement Index (IPK) of 3.00
  5. Maximum age 23 (twenty three) years or not yet 24 years old when appointed as a scholarship recipient
  6. Not working or in a bonded service status from another institution/agency
  7. The mobile phone number listed on the Scholarship Form and BI Scholarship Biodata Form will not be changed while receiving the BI Scholarship.
  8. Have experience in carrying out social activities that have a beneficial impact on society
  9. Creating a personal resume and motivation letter (in Indonesian)
  10. Include a letter of recommendation from a figure (academic or non-academic)
  11. Have an interest and experience in carrying out social activities that have a beneficial impact on society
  12. Willing to play an active role in the New Generation of Indonesia (GENBI) and participate in activities organized by Bank Indonesia

Completeness of Files

  1. Fill out the UNG scholarship form (attached)
  2. Fill in the biodata provided by Bank Indonesia (Form A.1) and signed by the student on a stamp (attached)
  3. Transcript of Grades until odd semester 2018/2019
  4. Photocopy of the Study Result Card (KHS) for the last odd semester of 2018/2019
  5. Photocopy of Identity Card (KTP) or Student Card
  6. Photocopy of Family Card or photocopy of Birth Certificate
  7. Certificate of economic weakness or underprivileged from the sub-district office
  8. Statement letter stating that you are not currently under a service contract with any agency (attached)
  9. Letter of statement of willingness to become an active member of the Bank Indonesia GENBI Scholarship Recipient Community organization (attached)
  10. Certificate of not currently receiving a scholarship from BAKP (Student Affairs Division)
  11. Recommendation letter from 1 (one) academic or non-academic figure
  12. 3 sheet of 4 x 1 color passport photo
  13. Files in points 1 to 12 (2 copies each) are placed in 2 cardboard folders (light yellow)

Scholarship Quota

Quota of prospective recipients is given by Bank Indonesia and distributed by the University to the faculties evenly. Submission of prospective recipients of Bank Indonesia scholarships (complete files) no later than the date set to the BAKP Student Affairs Section. If by the deadline that has been set, the list of proposals has not been submitted to the BAKP Student Affairs Section, then it is considered that the Faculty is not willing to send prospective scholarship recipients.

Selection Mechanism

  1. Stage I (Higher Education)
    1. Collect, check, verify and validate student administrative requirement files according to established criteria.
    2. Qualified candidates will be ranked according to priority scale according to the provisions.
    3. Submit all administrative files for 100 prospective recipients who have been determined in the first stage of verification and validation to Bank Indonesia.
    4. Presenting prospective student recipients who have been determined to have passed stage I to take part in the stage II selection process carried out by Bank Indonesia.
  2. Phase II (Bank Indonesia)
    1. Carrying out a selection process in the form of interviews with students
    2. The time and place for the interview to be carried out is as agreed between the University and Bank Indonesia.
    3. The selection process in the form of an in-depth interview is carried out to determine the abilities/potential interests and talents of the students.
    4. The implementation of interviews with the number and composition of interviewers, methods, types of questions, measurement scales, and final results are the authority of Bank Indonesia.
    5. The final results of the second stage of selection in the form of a list of students who have passed will be reported back to the University as soon as possible after the interview and will then be reported to the Faculty.

Announcement Stage

The selection results are officially sent by Bank Indonesia through Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Scholarship funds are distributed directly through transfers to bank accounts in the names of scholarship recipients every 6 months (semester) to regular scholarship recipients.

Scholarship Amount

The amount of Bank Indonesia scholarship received by students is Rp. 1.000.000/month, maximum can be received for 2 semesters (If in the following semester the IPS of the BI scholarship recipient student is <3.00, then the person concerned cannot be submitted again as a BI scholarship recipient).

 

Van Deventer-Maas Scholarship Indonesia

Van Deventer-Maas Scholarship IndonesiaVan Deventer-Maas Stichting is a private foundation with a mission to support education for the Indonesian people. The foundation was established in 1947, based on the agreement and wishes of Mrs. Elizabeth Maas, the wife of Mr. Coen Van Deventer. In 1979 Van Deventer-Maas Stichting merged with the Tjandi Foundation (founded in 1913) and the Van Deventer Stichting (founded in 1917), by adapting the Kartini Foundation, which was founded in 1913.

On September 12, 2017, the VDMS representative office in Indonesia officially became the Van Deventer-Maas Indonesia Foundation (YVDMI) whose management is fully entrusted to Indonesia. Coen Van Deventer, who cares about the economic inequality between the Netherlands and Indonesia, is very focused on helping education in Indonesia by providing funds in the form of scholarships and character development programs. The couple did not have children, therefore, they decided to donate their wealth (as charity) to develop the potential of the Indonesian people. One form of assistance provided is in the form of scholarships for young, talented, high-achieving students from economically disadvantaged families.

Scholarships are given from the second year until the end of the study period according to educational standards (eg S1 = years 2-4), unless the person concerned cannot maintain their achievements (GPA <3.00), takes leave, does not confirm receipt of funds and does not provide any reports at all in a certain period. Universitas Negeri Gorontalo has had the opportunity to become a partner in distributing aid for the van deventer scholarship since 2016. In 2021, UNG students recruited as recipients were 26 people.

Criteria

  1. S1 and D4 students in years 1-3 and D3 students in years 1-2
  2. Maximum age 27 years
  3. Come from a low-income family (proven by SKTM and/or a recommendation letter from the campus stating the financial condition/economic capability of the student concerned) GPA ≥ 3.00
  4. Departments: Agriculture, Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, Architecture, Arts and Culture, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Communication, Economics, Education, Engineering, Language, Management, Forestry, Geography, Health/Medicine, History, Informatics, Statistics, etc. (except Law, Political Science, International Relations, Public Administration, Religion, and Theology)
  5. Active in organizations or communities is preferred
  6. Fluent English is preferred
  7. Not currently receiving another scholarship

Scholarship Amount and Benefits

  1. Rp. 750.000,- (six hundred and fifty thousand rupiah) will be paid directly to the scholarship recipient's personal account every month on the same date (except if the date falls on a weekend/holiday)
  2. One TOEFL Bonus (if any) of Rp. 381.000 (three hundred and eighty one thousand rupiah) and On-Time Graduation Bonus (S1 of Rp. 700.000,- and D3 of Rp. 700.000,-)
  3. Get personal capacity building training through a selection process where all training costs are covered by the Van Deventer-Maas Indonesia Foundation.

Registration Process

The Van Deventer-Maas Indonesia Scholarship application must be done online through ers.vdms-scholarship.org. You can download the required document list form when you have completed the online application. If you are “invited” to the second stage, then you must submit the required document files to the Person in Charge at your campus.

Requirement Document

  1. List of required documents (download on the ORS home page/attachment)
  2. Certificate of Poverty (SKTM) or Letter of Recommendation from the school or campus (signed by the Chancellor/Dean/Head of Study Program) stating the family's economic condition.
  3. Latest academic transcript or GPA (minimum 3.00).
  4. Official pay slip of parents or guardians, either from government or private institutions. If both parents are working, it is mandatory to attach both pay slips, maximum of the last 2 (two) months.
  5. Employment and income certificate of parents/guardians (if self-employed), legalized by the Village/authorized authority or Employment and income statement letter made and signed on a Rp. 10.000 stamp. (can use Rp. 6.000 + Rp. 3.000 stamp or Rp. 6.000 + Rp. 6.000 stamp)
  6. Photocopy of KTP, Student Identity Card (KTM), Family Card (KK)
  7. Photocopy of electricity or telephone bill (maximum of the last 2 months). If you don't have one, please make/submit a statement containing information on the amount of power and costs incurred for electricity needs, then have it signed and legalized at the sub-district/authorized office.
  8. Essay about yourself (family, studies and social activities and achievements), what you know about VDMI, why VDMI should choose you to be a scholarship recipient, what you expect if you are selected as a scholarship recipient, and what you will do for the community after you finish receiving the scholarship and graduate from college. (Minimum 1.5 A4 pages, Font: Palatino Linotype, size 11, and 1 spacing).
  9. Photocopy of the front page of the savings book and 4x6 passport photo (Prepared only if the student passes stage 3)

Make sure you have a photo of each required document as a backup before the hard files are submitted to the university.

The university will send the documents to the Van Deventer-Maas Indonesia Foundation office in Yogyakarta to be selected according to the criteria above. If you are accepted as a scholarship recipient, then you must sign a scholarship agreement between you and the campus according to the agreement and provisions of Van Deventer-Maas Indonesia.

 

Bone Bolango Regency Government Scholarship

The Bonebolango Government Scholarship or known as the Bone Bolango Cemerlang Scholarship Program (BBC) is a regional government program that aims to ease the burden of education costs for students from the Bone Bolango area.

This scholarship is intended for D3, S1, S2 and S3 students. The BBC scholarship program will provide study assistance to Bone Bolango students who are still actively registered to attend lectures. including students at Universitas Negeri Gorontalo who meet the requirements. The recruitment of this scholarship is directly by the PEMDA through the Bone Bolango Regency Education Office.

UNG's involvement in this scholarship program is in verifying the status of active students and the students' GPA which will be determined.

General requirements

  1. Indonesian citizens who are registered as native residents of Bone Bolango Regency.
  2. Registered as an active student.
  3. Have a minimum Cumulative Achievement Index of 3,00.
  4. Students who are not State Civil Apparatus (ASN).
  5. Students who do not receive financial assistance or scholarships from other sources.
  6. Not a recipient of the Bone Bolango Cemerlang Scholarship for the 2022 Fiscal Year.
  7. Priority will be given to recipients of 2021 phase 2 who have not yet received their funds in 2021.
  8. Priority is given to students who are in semester 6 and above.

Special Requirements

  1. Application for study assistance from the person concerned.
  2. Bone Bolango Brilliant Scholarship Application Proposal.
  3. Photocopy of the latest transcript of grades legalized by the Vice Dean I (SIAT).
  4. Photocopy of Student ID Card.
  5. Photocopy of ID card.
  6. Photocopy of Family Card.
  7. Photocopy of an active bank account (BNI Bank).
  8. Certificate of Active Lectures in the current semester from the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni.
  9. Certificate stating that you are not currently receiving assistance/scholarships from the Student Affairs and Alumni Section of the BAKP, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo.
  10. The statement letter stating that you are not a State Civil Apparatus is stamped with a Rp. 10.000 stamp.

The National Alms Agency (BAZNAS) through the BAZNAS Scholarship Institute launched the BAZNAS Scholar Scholarship (BCB) program. In an effort to break the chain of poverty, BAZNAS optimizes education programs as one way to improve the economic quality and education of people who are classified as poor. The BAZNAS Scholar Scholarship is an educational assistance and self-development coaching for ongoing undergraduate students at 1 partner campuses of the National Alms Agency (BAZNAS) Scholarship. Since 101, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo has become one of the universities that has collaborated with BAZNAS in the recruitment and implementation of the BAZNAS Scholarship Program.

General requirements

  1. The National Alms Agency (BAZNAS) through the BAZNAS Scholarship Institute launched the BAZNAS Cendekia Scholarship (BCB) program.

Smart Indonesia Card Scholarship - College (KIP-K)

KIP K Kuliah Scholarship (KIP-K) is a scholarship program for underprivileged and outstanding students organized by Dikti. This program provides assistance in the form of education costs and living expenses for students for 8 semesters. All prospective Indonesian citizens who meet the requirements are entitled to receive this Scholarship Assistance. Since this assistance program was launched, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo has always been a part of this program. Through this program, many underprivileged students can achieve their hopes of getting an education at a quality university.

Syarat than Ketentuan

High school students or equivalent who graduated or will graduate in the current year or have been declared graduated a maximum of 2 years previously, and have valid NISN, NPSN and NIK. - Have good academic potential but have economic limitations supported by valid documentary evidence. - High school / vocational school / MA students or equivalent who graduated in the current year with good academic potential and have a KIP Card. - High school / vocational school / MA students or equivalent who graduated in the current year with good academic potential and have a Prosperous Family Card. - Passed the selection for new student admissions, and were accepted at a State or Private University in a Study Program with Accreditation A or B, and it is possible with certain considerations in a Study Program with Accreditation C.

The KIP K registration schedule coincides with the new student recruitment schedule.

 

 

UKT Assistance Scholarship from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology

Single Tuition Assistance is a single tuition fee subsidy worth up to IDR 2,4 million from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek). This assistance will begin to be disbursed in September 2021. This assistance can be obtained by students whose economy is affected by COVID-19. Students of Universitas Negeri Gorontalo who are affected by Covid 19 receive this assistance. The selection of BUKT recipients is based on faculty proposals based on the provisions and criteria of the ministry.

 

 

Djarum Scholarship Plus 

Since 1984, Djarum Foundation has consistently contributed to the world of education in Indonesia. This step began with the awareness that education is one of the efforts to improve the welfare of society and the nation in realizing a better future. Djarum Foundation also plays an active role in advancing education in Indonesia through a merit-based scholarship program known as Djarum Beasiswa Plus for high-achieving students in Indonesia. What distinguishes Djarum Beasiswa Plus from other scholarship programs is that, in addition to receiving a one-year scholarship fund, Beswan Djarum (the name for recipients of the Djarum Beasiswa Plus program) also receives various soft skills training to prepare them to become future leaders of the nation. This training includes Nation Building, Character Building, Leadership Development, Competition Challenges, and International Exposure. Not only stopping here, through the Community Empowerment program, Beswan Djarum is also given the opportunity to apply various soft skills that have been obtained by directly involving themselves in providing solutions to social problems in the environment where they are located. Through the cultivation and empowerment of the recipients of the Djarum Beasiswa Plus program, the series of training is intended to harmonize academic achievements (hard skills) obtained in college with various soft skills obtained from this program. The goal is for Beswan Djarum in the future to become future leaders of the nation who are capable both intellectually and emotionally.

More than 12.360 outstanding students have become recipients of the program. They come from various educational backgrounds in more than 123 leading universities in all 34 provinces in Indonesia. A proof of the seriousness of the Djarum Foundation in its commitment to building the nation through education. Students of Universitas Negeri Gorontalo have had the opportunity to be part of the recipients of this Scholarship.

Requirements

  1. Currently studying for a Bachelor's degree/Diploma 1 in semester IV, from all disciplines,
  2. Minimum GPA of 3.20 in semester III, and can maintain a minimum GPA of 3.20 until the end of semester IV,
  3. Actively participate in organizational activities both on and off campus,
  4. Not currently receiving a scholarship from another party. Administrative requirements for registration files:

  6. One colored passport photo measuring 4 x 6 cm, wearing an alma mater jacket,

  8. Transcript of grades up to semester III, which has been legalized by campus authorities,

  10. A certificate from the campus (Rectorate) stating that you are not currently receiving a scholarship from another party (for example, for 2022 applicants, the period is from 1 September 2022 - 31 August 2023).
