GORONTALO – A total of 31 lecturers and education staff have officially become part of the UNG academic community by receiving a Decree (SK) as Contract-based Government Employees (PPPK). The PPPK Decree was handed over by the UNG Rector, Prof. Dr. Ir. Eduart Wolok, ST, MT, while leading the first-morning roll call at the start of 2024 within the UNG academic community, Tuesday (2/1), at the UNG indoor tennis court.
In his speech, the Rector congratulated the lecturers and education staff who had officially become part of the UNG family. The presence of 31 lecturers and staff is expected to be additional energy supply for UNG, in strengthening the implementation of the three pillars of higher education to make UNG excellent and competitive.
"Welcome to UNG community campus, we are certainly looking forward to the commitment and contribution of the new lecturers and education staff who have joined to advance our beloved campus," said the Rector.
The Rector hopes that the performance output at UNG will improve and be sustainable with the support of competent human resources like these new members. The next big challenge must be addressed is how to guide and set an example through a good academic ecosystem, especially for young lecturers who have officially joined today.
"Our tough task going forward is to create a good academic ecosystem because academic trust is the biggest capital of a university," he concluded. (**)
