GORONTALO – The academic community of Universitas Negeri Gorontalo held a 2023 morning roll call to start the upcoming year’s agendas and was attended by the Rector, University leadership, lecturers and educational staff. During the assembly, the Rector of UNG, Dr. Eduart Wolok, S.T, M.T, urged the UNG academic community to always be optimistic and improve their performance in facing all the challenges faced in 2023.
"In 2023, we’re insisted on working faster and harder to achieve our target, originally announced before the Covid-19 pandemic strike," said the Rector.
Despite being amid a poly-crisis (simultaneous crisis) due to the covid-19 pandemic, the Rector said that UNG managed to close 2022 with great joy through various extraordinary achievements. According to him, these achievements were due to the involvement of all parties, who contributed to making UNG more excellent and competitive.
"I also want to appreciate the academic community's performance since, despite working during the Covid-19 pandemic, UNG managed to experience improvements in various aspects, whether in the governance and academic sectors," said the Rector.
Held by Faculty of Education Universitas Negeri Gorontalo and supported by ten universities as co-hosts and an organisation.
