The month of Ramadan is a month full of blessings and forgiveness. In this glorious month, humans are encouraged to give each other and increase the quality and quantity of our worship.
The month full of glory was utilized by the State University of Gorontalo in collaboration with the Gorontalo Takjil Showcase which was initiated by UNG alumni who provided free takjil for the community at any time before breaking the fast.
Rector of the Universitas Negeri Gorontalo Dr. Ir. Eduart Wolok, ST., MT., IPM, said that the Free Takjil Showcase which is located at the main gate of the UNG campus provides an opportunity for everyone to put on the takjil and all fasting people can take it.
"The reason we prepare takjil at the gates of the UNG campus is, at this time, this location is one of the most crowded locations by the people of Gorontalo City," he said.
The Rector hopes that with this Free Takjil Showcase will provide opportunities for the community to share with each other, so that the spirit of this Ramadan in the future will be a spirit that we will continue to maintain and build together to advance Indonesia.
Held by Faculty of Education Universitas Negeri Gorontalo and supported by ten universities as co-hosts and an organisation.
