Gorontalo - The Informatics Engineering Student Team of the State University of Gorontalo won 1st place in the National Robotics Competition held by the National Computer and Informatics Student Association on Friday (30/5) in Samarinda, East Kalimantan.
The team consisting of Randi Sudirman, Mohamad Gufron Tuloli and Agung Kurniawan Mokoginta managed to become the best after outperforming eight other teams.
"The robot that we bring to the competition is the Autonomous Spider Robot which functions to detect fires and extinguish them," said Randi Sudirman.
Randi said that the robot will continue to be developed.
