GORONTALO – Hundreds of students from nationwide state and private universities will engage in the PMM-DN Batch 4 program in 2024 at Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Currently, 1500 students have registered and selected UNG as their destination campus.
Adista Nurfadillah, an undergraduate student majoring in nursing at Padjadjaran University (UNPAD) admitted that she was very enthusiastic about taking part in the PMM-DN program, especially at UNG. She picked UNG as her destination university for it was a direct recommendation of her home university, Unpad.
"Besides being recommended by my home campus, UNG is the one I wanted to go to, so it is a no-doubt choice to take when registering for the PMM-DN program," said Adista.
According to Adista, another reason for choosing UNG is that it is located on the island of Sulawesi, surrounded by historical places and appealing tourist attractions such as whale shark tourism. Apart from that, Gorontalo is a traditional area with traditional houses, which are certainly very interesting to study to enrich regional cultural insight in Indonesia.
"By joining PMM-DN, we want to broaden our academic insight by studying for one semester, gain experience and enrich knowledge about culture and national insight," she concluded. (**)
