Gorontalo – Two selection processes of new student admission in 2019 which are National University Admission (SNMPTN) and Joint University Admission have been completed. Although the two selection process have completed, UNG is still giving the opportunity for the new student candidate to do the registration through UNG Independent New Student Admission.

“For new student candidates who are not accepted in SNMPTN or SBMPTN 2019 and willing to study in UNG are accommodated in Independent Admission. The admission has been open since on 10 July 2019 and will be closed on 24 July 2019,” Head of Academic, Students and Planning Bureau Gorontalo State University Zumriyati Mohamad, M.Pd,.

Explained by Zumriyati Independent Admission Registration consists of 3 admission phases, the first phase is Independent Admission that is based on the UTBK score which had been opened from 10 until 15 July yesterday. “With based on the UTBK score the participant will not have to do another test. Because UTBK in SBMPTN yesterday will be the standard of the assessment,” she said.

The second phase of Independent Selection is based on new student candidates’ achievements that will give facility to new student candidates who have achievement in the academic or non-academic field. “This selection will be opened from 16 July until 22 July 2019,” Zumriati said.

The third phase of Independent admission is based on computer test (CBT) will be opened on 16 July until 24 July 2019. “on this CBT Independent Admission, the registrant must attend the test in UNG, and the result of the test will be the standard of the selection assessment,” she said.

Zumriyati also confirms, the Independent Admission will be the last chance for the new student candidates who are willing to study at the state university. After the Independent Admission is over there will be no other admission program in UNG.
