Gorontalo – Gorontalo people; especially the academic community is curious about the establishment of the medical study program, finally has been answered. UNG as pride college of Gorontalo society has been authorized study program of medical degree program and medical education; doctor profession program by Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education.

The establishment approval of program study gave by Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education Prof. Mohamad Nasir, Ph.D, AK , Meanwhile visiting UNG on general dialogue with UNG's students, Tuesday (24th January), in Auditorium.

On the posting ministerial decree of doctor program study by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, it was suddenly made lecturer , academic staff and also students were surprised, because there was not an information about the sceducle it itself. In fact, some of the lecturers and students were touched with happy tears because finally UNG had an opportunity to open a doctoral study program.

Minister Prof. Mohamad Nasir, Ph.D, AK states that UNG is appropriate to establish medical program study, and it is based on assessment by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education.

“Congratulations to UNG that has got legitimacy for medical education and doctor profession. He hopes that the education process will be just fine.”

With the legalization that is given, Minister hopes that UNG could promise for good education which means committed to taking responsibility above the quality, high education and it can not be useless education.

“Hopefully, UNG will be able to fulfill the human resources need in the medical sector in the province of Gorontalo. And it can be supporting the means of local government to realize quality of health service ".
