GORONTALO – As a form of commitment to encouraging improvements in the quality of research, UNG through the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) launched the 2025 research guidebook, Tuesday (11/3), at the UNG Rectorate Hall.
The research guide book was launched directly by the Rector of UNG, Prof. Dr. Ir. Eduart Wolok, ST, MT, which was attended by the leadership of faculties, departments and study programs in UNG. The book launch was also combined with the socialization of the research guide to all leadership ranks, and combined with the launch of the Paluwala application (Research and Community Service Information System).
Head of LPPM Prof. Lanto Ningrayati Amali, S.Kom., M.Kom., Ph.D., explained that the presence of the research guidebook is an important momentum in efforts to improve the quality of research at UNG. With this guide, it is hoped that UNG researchers can conduct research activities with uniform standards, so that they can produce higher quality research output.
"This will be a joint guideline for lecturers to conduct research activities. Hopefully the presence of the research guideline book will spur the spirit of researchers in innovating, producing research output that can contribute to society," said Ningrayati.
Meanwhile, UNG Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ir. Eduart Wolok, ST, MT, said that UNG continues to strive to improve the quality of research, one of which is by setting standards through research guidelines. Eduart has high hopes that with these guidelines, it can encourage an increase in the number and quality of research produced by UNG academics.
"With a more structured guide, it is hoped that UNG will play an increasingly important role in producing innovation and scientific publications, and research performance will continue to improve to provide a positive impact for the community, especially our beloved UNG campus," he concluded. (**)
