The Faculty of Education (FIP) of the State University of Gorontalo continues to show its consistency in the vaccination program efforts pursued by the Government. This effort was carried out by holding the Covid-19 vaccination program again in the Faculty Hall, Wednesday (13/4).
Even though it was held during Ramadan, the third vaccination program implemented by FIP was enthusiastically welcomed by the academic community. A number of leaders such as the dean and vice dean and students also came to get the booster vaccine.
Dean of FIP Dr. Arwildayanto, M.Pd, said that the COVID-19 vaccination program, especially the provision of phase 3 (booster) vaccines, was in collaboration with the Gorontalo Provincial Police, BIN Gorontalo and BPBD Gorontalo. The booster vaccine is not only targeted at lecturers, education staff and students but also the community around the campus.
"This is a form of our endeavor to welcome face-to-face learning in the next semester, with the presentation of vaccine recipients at FIP reaching 100 percent, namely lecturers, staff and students," said Arwil.
To increase public interest in participating in the vaccination program, vaccine recipients are given basic necessities to take home.
"Of course, FIP has a responsibility to participate in the success of the government's vaccination program. This is important so that the entire community can be protected from the COVID-19 virus," he explained.
