GORONTALO – As many as 36 medical interns (young doctors) who graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Universitas Negeri Gorontalo, have officially held Bachelor of Medicine (S.Ked) degrees. After holding a bachelor's degree, they will take medical doctor profession education at the Aloe Saboe General Hospital of Gorontalo City.

According to the Vice Dean for General and Financial Affairs of the Faculty of Medicine, dr. Zuhriana Yusuf, M.Kes, before joining the medical doctor profession education program at the hospital, they were provided with training through a preclinical clerkship.

"This is an important hustle as an initial provision to prepare students before participating in the hospital. So, it is hoped that the students are motivated and confident in attending the future classes," she said

Later, after participating in a preclinical clerkship, these medical interns will attend medical doctor profession education which, according to the schedule, will begin on February 27, 2023.

"Besides Aloe Saboe General Hospital, which is the main teaching hospital, there are also several partner hospitals, namely Tombulilato Hospital, Toto Hospital, Ainun Hospital and Dunda Hospital," he concluded. (**)
