Gorontalo – Gorontalo State University will begin to open the admission for medical major new students in the academic year 2019-2020. There are 50 quotas for this very first admission.

Second Vice Dean of Public Health and Sport Faculty dr. Zuhriana Yusuf, M. Kes, explain that, new student admission of medical major will be held in two admission categories which are SBMPTN and independent admission selection.

“There are 35 new medical student quotas on SBMPTN 2019 and for Independent admission accommodates 15 new student quotas,” said Zuhriana.

According to her, new student admission through SBMPTN 2019 is done by accessing online registration on page http://pendaftaran.sbmptn.ac.id which is started from 10-24 June. After the acceptance announcement, new student candidate must conduct medical checkup and interview with the dean and head of the department.

“Independent admission registration will be held on 1 June until 16 June 2019. The test on independent admission will consist of major competency test, academic potential test, medical test, MMPI and interview,” she said.
