GORONTALO – Universitas Negeri Gorontalo held a strategic workshop to determine the university’s program work plan and budget for 2024 on Tuesday (23/1). The workshop was held at the TC Damhil UNG Ballroom and involved leadership from university level to work units, including postgraduate, faculties and institutes.

Dr. Arif Mulyanto, S.Kom, M.Kom., as Chair of the Organizing Committee, stated that the workshop is vital to align work programs and work unit strategic plans, which include Key Performance Indicators (KPI or IKU) and other activities that the university will implement.

UNG Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Eduart Wolok, S.T., M.T., in his remark, said that the essence of this workshop is to lead postgraduate, faculty and institutional leaders to have a mindset and an idea for the next 4 years of the work unit.

"So, to achieve these goals, in 2024 as the starting year, we must set programs for the next 4 years," said the Rector.

The Rector urged the importance of preparing a harmonized work plan so that all performances are measurable and all parties should focus on achieving the university’s strategic goals. Apart from that, the Rector hopes that through synergy and collaboration between stakeholders, the university can attain better achievements and positively contribute to society and development in the Gorontalo region.
