GORONTALO – The Government of Kabupaten Bone Bolango and State University of Gorontalo have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) designed to implement the Tridharma (three responsibilities) of higher education and Regional development as well. The MoU are directly signed by Prof. Dr. Syamsu Qamar Badu, M.Pd the UNG’s Rector with Hamim Pou, S.Kom, MH as the regent (Bupati) of Bone Bolango, executed in Rector’s Office on Thurday (06/23).

“With this partnership, UNG will always support to actualize purpose of Bone Bolango as the education city in Gorontalo Province. The construction of the new campus in Bone Bolango is one form of support on that purpose,” said Rector.

He adds, this activity will bring many positive activities for both parties. Partnership between local governments of Bone Bolango expected to develop as well as the welfare of the society especially in this district trough the implementation of the Tridharma. This also becomes one of UNG’s commitments to support the development and progress of the Bone Bolango.

Meanwhile, Mr. Bupati as the number one person of Bone Bolango said his hope that cooperation with UNG will increasingly support local Government to develop Bone Bolango. In addition, the cooperation includes the development of Bone Bolango deal and UNG’s support of capable human resources. (San)
