Gorontalo – 11 students of Universitas Negeri Gorontalo are representing all of the faculty to accompany the community service program in country of sakura, Japan. Through the sakura science program, the best students of UNG will be conducting a service activity in Matsuyama with students from Japan.
The participant of sakura science program UNG was officially authorized by vice rector/Academic sector of UNG Prof. Dr. Ir. Mahludin Barwadi, MP, Head of LPPM UNG Prof. Fentypuluhulawa, SH, M.Hum, and Head of dept, ITK Dr. Narty Eraku, M.Si, Friday (18/1/2019).
Prof. Fenty states that Sakura science program is a collaboration program of community service program between UNG and Ehime University of Japan, which is involved by each student and represented by each University that has been around for 3 years. Prof. Fenty thought that when 10 days of Sakura science program in Matsuyama, UNG's students will be conducting outdoor learning, research and scientific report which is accompanied by Ehime University.
“In August last year, the students from Japan had visited Gorontalo in the case of a community service program. As long as the service program went on, The students from Japan were accompanied by UNG's students. So, sakura science is becoming feedback from UNG to accompany community service programs in Japan, he said.
Prof. Mahludin instructs the students of UNG to use the opportunities on the sakura science program, as a moment to develop the skills and explore the knowledge. Moreover, this opportunity could be increased in the country of source technology and science.
