GORONTALO – The large potential for scholarships provided by the Indonesian Government encourages Universitas Negeri Gorontalo to continue motivating the academic community to continue their education through existing scholarships.

One of the efforts to encourage them was organizing a seminar on opening the 2024 Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP) scholarship selection phase 1, Tuesday (18/1). The scholarship seminar was welcomed enthusiastically by lecturers and students at UNG.

Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Dr. Abdul Hafidz Olii, M.Si., also enthusiastically welcomed the scholarship seminar. According to him, the LPDP scholarship is a priceless facility provided by the government to make the wishes of students and lecturers come true to continue their education at a higher level.

"This scholarship seminar focuses on further studies at Master's and Doctoral degrees, so UNG students and lecturers must take advantage of this opportunity to understand any detail of LPDP scholarship selection. "This scholarship allows recipients to receive facilities that will make it easier to continue their education," said Hafidz.

By obtaining information directly from the LPDP management, Hafidz hopes lecturers and students can prepare themselves more optimally by getting tips, tricks, and obstacles often faced when participating in the selection.

In the scholarship seminar, the LPDP was attended by the Director of Research Facilitation of the LPDP RI Ir. Wisnu Sarjono Sunarso, M.Eng., addressed a topic about LPDP scholarships, including the various facilities provided and the selection techniques. Wisnu also encouraged students and lecturers to participate in LPDP scholarships at home and abroad campuses.

"All students can participate and have the opportunity to get an LPDP scholarship since this is eligible for every citizen. "Students have the right to continue their studies to a higher level, so we will provide opportunities for those who are willing and serious," explained Wisnu. (**)
