GORONTALO - The department of public administration continues to strengthen the quality of its human resources with the presence of educators with doctoral education qualifications. The educator who has completed a series of doctoral education is Rustam Tohopi who is the secretary of the UNG Public Administration Undergraduate Program.
Through the open dissertation examination, Rustam was inaugurated as a doctor of public administration at the UNG Postgraduate Program, with an achievement index of 3.83 with a very satisfactory predicate. In his dissertation, Rustam focused on raising issues related to the implementation of housing assistance policies for habitable housing (mahyani) in Gorontalo Regency.
Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Alumni Dr. Amir Arham, ME, as chairman of the session congratulated Rustam on the success of obtaining a doctorate degree. According to him, the increasing number of lecturers with doctoral qualifications will further encourage the improvement of the quality of education and learning in the department.
"By improving the education and learning process, it will certainly push UNG towards a remarkable and competitive campus," he said.
With the increasing number of doctoral lecturers in the department of public administration, Amir hopes that research and publication activities can also increase so that it can encourage quality improvement through study program accreditation. (**)
