Gorontalo - The Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia, which has hit since two years ago, is starting to show a decline. The Rector of the Universitas Negeri Gorontalo invited the audience who attended the UNG Bersholawat activity which was held on Tuesday (24/5) to pray for the situation to return to normal.
"Tonight's activity is a form of our gratitude for the beginning of the easing of Covid-19. we all know together for more than 2 years disturbing and shackles all our activities. God willing, tonight we will pray together for the situation to return to normal so that we will carry out activities as before," he said.
He also invited the audience to pray for the face-to-face teaching and learning process that would soon be implemented.
“We pray that the teaching and learning process activities will be better in the future. Because we will carry out face-to-face learning. Of course, everything contains risks and through prayer we hope that the risks associated with Covid-19 can be minimized so that our intention to produce the nation's best sons and daughters is always guarded by Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
UNG Bersholawat dan Doa Bersama Untuk Gorontalo was attended by more than 2000 people. This activity began with the reading of Maulid Al-Mahmud by the Majelis Muhyin Nufuus Gorontalo, then continued with tausiyah by KH. Rasyid Kamaru, M.Pd.I, Habib Salim Al-Jufri, Lc. and K.H. Abdullah Aniq Nawawi, LC., MA.
Held by Faculty of Education Universitas Negeri Gorontalo and supported by ten universities as co-hosts and an organisation.
