As the benchmark for assessing the quality of study programs, efforts to prepare for the re-accreditation of all study programs have been initiated by the Institute for Learning Development and Quality Assurance (LPPM). To maximize the preparation for re-accreditation, LPPM held a workshop to prepare the accreditation of superior study programs towards UNG with the predicate of excellent accreditation.

Head of LPPPM Prof. Ansar, M.Pd, revealed that the implementation of the workshop was a strategic step in supporting the realization of increasing accreditation at the study program level. Moreover, the workshop will provide refreshments as well as tips to improve accreditation ratings.

“Debriefing on preparation for accreditation will be provided by Prof. Ir. Johannes Hutabarat, M.Sc, Ph.D, as an assessor who has visited UNG for accreditation. Increasing the accreditation of study programs is important because currently UNG is in preparation for excellent accreditation for universities, " Ansar said.

UNG Rector Dr. Ir. Eduart Wolok, ST, MT, in his direction said that currently the minimum score for the accreditation requirements for study programs at UNG is still lacking. This requirement must be met because the achievement of accreditation at the study program level is an absolute requirement to support the achievement of excellent university accreditation ratings.

"Today we are opening and reviewing the readiness of all study programs at UNG so that the target of study program accreditation can be achieved, so that it can facilitate UNG's steps to achieve excellent institutional accreditation," he said.

The Rector hopes that the presence of the presenters who are assessors of BAN-PT can provide understanding to all elements of the study program, so that they have confidence in realizing a superior accreditation rating.

"UNG must achieve a superior accreditation rating, because the status of the accreditation rating belongs to and is the pride of the entire UNG academic community," he concluded.
