Gorontalo: The implementation of the Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG) batch 2 in 2021 is prepared by the PPG UNG Study Program. This time, the implementation of PPG In Position will be followed by 207 participants who will take part in education towards Professional Teachers.

Head of PPG UNG Study Program Prof. Dr. Nurhayati Abbas, M.Pd, said that the participants reflected Bhineka Tunggal Ika this time because participants who will take part in Professional Teacher education are from Gorontalo Province and consist of 7 provinces in Indonesia.

"If previously PPG participants came from 3 provinces, then this year's batch two will be attended by participants from 7 provinces," said Prof. Nurhayati.

The 207 participants from the seven provinces in question are from Gorontalo Province as many as 17 participants, Central Java Province as many as 67 participants, East Java Province as many as 2 participants, North Kalimantan Province as many as 32 participants, South Sulawesi Province as many as 77 participants, Central Sulawesi Province as many as 5 participants and North Sulawesi Province as many as 7 participants.

"For batch 2, it is opened for the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program and the Mathematics Study Program," he explained.

According to Prof. Nurhayati, students who will attend this year's education have increased compared to the previous year. "This indicates that the Ministry gives more confidence to UNG in implementing the PPG program. Of course, this trust must be answered with our commitment to the successful implementation of the PPG program as well as possible," concluded Prof. Nurhayati. (Wahid)
