The Independent Accreditation Institute for Health Higher Education (LAM-PTKes) visited the medical faculty of the Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. The visit of LAM-PTKes, represented by the assessor team, to the youngest faculty at UNG in a series of accreditations for the medical doctor profession study program.

The arrival of the assessor team, namely Prof. Dr. dr. Eryati Darwin, PA(K), dr. Tridjoko Hadianto, DTMH, M.Kes, and dr. Wawaimuli Arozal, M.Biomed, Pharm D, who will be visiting for 4 days, was greeted by the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Dr. Harto Malik, M. Hum, accompanied by the leaders of the medical faculty.

Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Dr. Harto Malik, M.Hum, in his remarks said that the series of field assessments was the first stage of accreditation for the medical doctor profession study program at the UNG.

"In this first accreditation, we all hope that the medical doctor profession study program will get the best results, so that it can provide more motivation for the entire academic community to improve their performance," Harto hoped.

According to him, the existence of the medical faculty at UNG is a matter of pride for the people of Gorontalo and also the Tomini Bay area. Even at a young age, the public's interest in the UNG medical faculty is very large, with many applicants registering for the SNMPTN, SBMPTN and Independent Admission pathways.

"With the accreditation, it is hoped that it can emphasize the advantages of the medical professional study program, so that people will have more confidence in its quality and will not hesitate to get an education here," explained Harto.

Meanwhile, according to the head of the assessment team, Prof. Dr. dr. Eryati Darwin, PA(K), the assessor team arrived to see and get an overview of the conditions in the field at the UNG medical study program, which would then be reported to the LAM-PTKes.
