Gorontalo – In September 2019, Gorontalo State University officially will turn 56 years old. The 56th Dies Natalis anniversary of Gorontalo State University is celebrated with simple and full of togetherness ceremony by the academic community of UNG, Tuesday (9/3) at UNG Rektorat Field. Lecturer, students and employee gathering is held after the Dies Natalis Ceremony.

In the 56th Dies Natalis of Gorontalo State University, several hopes are delivered by Gorontalo State University. Temporary Rector Official Prof. John Hendry, Ph.D., in his speech hopes UNG will be able to increase the quality in the future to objectify the UNG’s vision as the leading university in South East Asia.

“2035 Vision is a big vision that must be achieved together, the only way is to increase and strengthen the quality of UNG as the higher institution which is proud of Gorontalo people,” Prof. John Said.

According to Prof. John in 56 years of UNG, various achievements have been obtained. The increasing of Three Duties of University which is proved with the best accreditation in all majors and grade A institution accreditation.

“These achievements are the outcome of the leader, lecturer and staff hard work and solidarity. The work performance and solidarity must be taken care of to bring UNG to its glory,” he hopes.
