GORONTALO – To provide a forum for students to show their skills in terms of English debate, UNG through the student affairs division held a University-level National University Debating Championship (NUDC).

NUDC committee Titien Fatmawaty Mohammad, S.Pd, M.App Ling, said that NUDC 2022 will bring together 12 representative teams from all faculties at UNG, to show each other their debating skills using English.

"In addition to English language skills, assessment points include students' critical thinking in addressing an issue as well as the methods used when debating," said Titien.

According to her, the University level NUDC will choose the best team that will enter the final session, then who will be the best team and the best speakers one, two and three.

“The best students in this competition will later become UNG representatives, to compete at NUDC regional level. "If they succeed in becoming the best at the regional level, then they will compete at the NUDC at the national level," he said. (**)
