GORONTALO - The number of professional teachers continues to increase along with its commitment to supporting Indonesian education’s progress, following the inauguration of 462 professional teacher graduates who studied at Universitas Negeri Gorontalo State University.
The inauguration of hundreds of teachers was led by the Rector of UNG, Prof. Dr. Eduart Wolok, S.T., M.T., through the inauguration procession of in-service and pre-service professional teacher education (PPG) for the first period of 2023 graduation year, Tuesday (9/1), in the ballroom of Damhil UNG Training Center.
PPG Study Program Coordinator Prof. Dr. Yusna Ahmad, M.Pd., revealed that hundreds of professional teachers were inaugurated, consisting of 399 in-service PPG students and 63 pre-service PPG students in 2023.
"The 462 professional teachers who were inaugurated will later play a role as front guards in producing excellent human resources as the future successor of Indonesia," said Yusna.
UNG Rector Prof. Dr. Eduart Wolok, S.T., M.T., congratulated hundreds of teachers who have officially become professional teachers. Prof. Eduart said this milestone was not easy to reach, as many teachers wanted to have this professional teacher title but ended up failing. But, this experience was successfully enjoyed by 461 teachers who studied at UNG.
“The graduates inaugurated today are selected teachers blessed to experience this. "So be grateful for this blessing by becoming a better teacher after graduating from PPG," said the Rector.
